So, Pokey and Sm, I’ve got good news – I’ve finally got episode 9 of DG finished and posted. Took me most of the day today, so it’s a good thing I had the day off. Trying to get the !@#$% thing posted took me over 2 hours. I’m gonna have to discipline myself and work on the next ones for a while every night or we’ll all be in a nursing home by the time I get them done

I got my stitches out yesterday and slowly getting my voice back; he did a test to look at my vocal chords where he went through my nasal cavity down into my throat. Back from Idaho. Man it’s getting cold there. I’m turning into a real South East wimp. Get below 60 and I get cold. Had a great time visiting with my sister and my BT sisters (Holly and Becky). Flew home so I could be here before hubby left for a week in Paris….poor baby! If he doesn’t bring me home the Eiffel Tower I’m gonna be really pissed..LOL. Okay I’ll settle for some chocolate truffles or something.

Where is everyone? I just got back from Minnesota today, it was my first time up there and it was “Awesome” I saw the vikings live and went to the mall of America and saw tons of sharks! My second passion after Henry! I had such a wonderful time with Quinton, and it was the best thing to happen for me since Bruce died last year! The stadium had 63,000 people for Sunday’s game and its the first time I have been in an area with so many people and so much purple! ha! I hope you all had a nice weekend too! now I have to get ready for mid-terms this week. wish me luck!

Hey there people , L.D raiding mum’s post ^^, went gigging last night, t’was brutal ^^, Devildriver are amazing live , i survived my first session crowd surfing too yay ^^! i also managed to high 5 the vocalist of one of the support bands (Malefice), there was only one real let down at the gig, that was Suicide Silence. but thats a whole new story involving many swears. so i won’t post it ^^ anyhoww, thought you’d like to know about my recent activities as i seem to disappear a lot on these blogs (due to the fact i can’t remember my login….)anyway im off now, byebye ^^
How are you dear? miss you! LD, Kudos on seeing Devil driver and the crowd surf, was it fun? My Bruce did it at every concery he went to and I often wondered how he managed to escape without injury!ha! I commend you on high fiving the front man or woman of any band. I sang dead memories with the lead singer of slip knot at the concert I went too. It was amazing and I know Bruce would have been suprised at me cause that was his fav band. SO just keep rockin’ kid cause even at my age, it can only get better!

I was wondering about you! Yes, I’m healing but I still can’t sing and it pisses me off! I hope work isn’t wearing you out too much, I can’t physically help you but I can pray that your work load will become less and easier to deal with! I am working my butt off trying to bring one of my grades up before the end the term; it really suffered while I was in the hospital and right now I have an F in the class, A lot of it is due to attendance issues though, thats like the seventh deadly sin at Kaplan. How are you? I moved up from an F in that troubled class to a C for now; For a 60’s class it is alot harder than you may think! YAY! I survived halloween unscathed – I usually have either the house or the truck windows get egged. I know it sounds a bit snivelly, but not having to clean one or more sets of windows in near-freezing weather is a reason to celebrate.

I survived the night wit a minimal hangover, I think Henry was there in spirit looking out for me. Saw 6 was the bomb, I thought it wrapped up everything great. Currently I’m reading two different series one by Sherrilyn Kenyon and the other by Christine Feehan – I’m seriously enjoying them both.
The Phone Call will have one more chapter and I’m still working out some kinks with ARCANES before I can post more. But as long as there’s someone out there that cares, I’ll keep writing.
Both my sons and one daughter-in-law were over last night along with a mutual friend. My husband and the four of them played board games while I read. It was fun to hear there laughter.
I can’t imagine the pain you must feel over your loss. The only comfort I can offer is your memories of laughter. Hang on to the best of memories and let the rest go.

As ya know the hubby has been laid off for the last 10 months… and things were getting pretty tough around here.. BUT good news to share. He starts a new job on Mon. after Thanksgiving! WOOT! The job is at one of the Co. working for the space center in Florida. Which means another move for us. Thanksgiving was a very quiet day at my house. One son and his wife are in Germany for a vacation. The other son and his wife went to his in-laws. So hubby and I went to a movie and I made a crock-pot dinner for TG.
I’ll have company later this morning for a brunch and Saturday for the ‘big’ feast.

Well the winter term has gotten underway for me so I am doing a quick drive by to let you all know that I am doing ok considering the upcoming holiday; but to remind each and everyone of you that having all of you in my life has been a true blessing for me and I know Bruce would be the first to thank you for helping to see me through the hard times. with that being said, I hope that all of you have a wonderful christmas and be thankful for each other and your families; Praying that you all are well and that our BT homies can find a way back to us in the new year! Pokey-I always encourage anyone who wants, to write, it’s a great outlet, but I also add a caveat: Get yourself a good beta reader if you want to post, it will help and I think you’ll find a collaborative effort will bring more to the story. A fresh set of eyes always helps.

Yes, you stay in as much as possible, Ok” We finally got some snow that decided to stick around last night. so I guess Quinton and I have a lot to look forward to when we go to Missouri for Xmas. so far the term isn’t bad, I don’t actually have and assignments yet, they will start this week. as for posting on TB, I will probably have to redo everything, after reading my notes this morning, I think I have some things backwards so take your time!
Just quickly dropping by to say hi before I venture out for a day (or less if I’m really lucky) of full-contact Christmas shopping.
Sorry I haven’t been around much. Just when I thought the worst of the panic at work was over, I got dumped on again and I have no idea anymore if I’ll ever dig myself out. My only saving grace is I don’t have to make Christmas dinner as I thought I was going to have to this year – my sister is too lazy to drive to across town to my place, so I let myself get sucked into driving to hers. There are times when being a push over has its benefits
I suppose I’d better think about getting moving – the roads and weather will probably be as big a fight as the crowds at the mall. It’s snowed twice more since the blizzard last week, but the temp is supposed to really crater over the weekend. It was -12C when I got home last night but the high for today is only supposed to be -26C and my truck doesn’t like it much when it gets that cold. I won’t tell you what they’re forecasting for the next week because I figure the guys at Environment Canada are all comedians who couldn’t get a job anywhere else. Besides who else but a weather guy can be completely wrong 99% of the time and still keep their job?

How’s the homework going? Trying to do a course from home is a bit different animal than going to classes, isn’t it? It requires a degree of discipline that I don’t think I have anymore
I don’t envy the weather you were having, getting around must be brutal. The cold snap finally broke around here yesterday (thank god). There were new record lows and wind chills all over the place. I heard that over the weekend Edmonton, which is about 300 miles north of me, got down to -40C and the wind chill made it feel like -50. So glad I don’t live there anymore!
I’m working on a ‘care package’ for you, Pokey. It’ll take me a bit to put together, so it probably won’t reach you until the new year, but it is coming. Think of it as a second Xmas from parts unknown

Hows it going? Quinton passed his RN boards yesterday! Yay Quinton!!! He will be getting his license in the mail soon; I am so proud of him, he has worked so hard to get here! So I made homemade pizza for the two of us last night and we sat and watched Angel. Hope you all are ready for a new year! “Oh, how many of you believe that Kyle actually started a my space page? Part of me wants to, but I remember him saying once that he didn’t care for stuff like that; so what gives! I liked the pic, but find it hard to believe that he set up that page! any thoughts!

Not sure how many of you are still following Kyle, but apparently there was a journalist in Memphis who’s had a ’sexiest man in the vamp realm’ poll going on her blog for the last week or so who didn’t have Kyle on her list (what’s up with that!). The ladies over at Kyle’s Korner convinced her to add Kyle (2 days after the poll started) and our boy beat out 18 other guys, including Robert Pattinson, by the time the poll closed at mindnight! Made my New Year’s morning

Just thought I’d stop in and say hi before I start getting ready for bed. Got a couple of New Year’s resolutions to try and keep – getting more sleep and learning to leave work at work. I think the work one will be the really tough one.
Pokey and SM, I have some good news for you. I’ve finally gotten around to working some more on the Defying Gravity summaries. I’ve gotten about half way through episode 11 over the past couple of days. Hopefully it won’t take me too long to get it done and posted. I read, though, that DG is supposed to be coming out on DVD in February, including the episodes that weren’t aired in the US. If I remember correctly, they’re talking about charging $50 for the regular DVD version and about $60 for Blueray. Not sure if I’m prepared to spend that kind of money for 13 episodes. Luckily it’s still running on Space up here, so I can record it.

Not sure if anyone else has seen it yet, but DVD on TV is reporting that there’s gonna be a new BT complete series set as well as a Bluray version coming out in the April. The company with the DVD rights has to be making a buck on the original 2 disks to justify two new sets.

WOW! Raven that is awesome! I don’t even have 1. ha! I’m getting along how are you? I got my stitches out yesterday and slowly getting my voice back; he did a test to look at my vocal chords where he went through my nasal cavity down into my throat. It only took a few minutes and said they looked fine. I am so relieved. Hope you are doing better Hank, I have wondered about you! I miss C, so much! Back from Idaho. Man it’s getting cold there. I’m turning into a real South East wimp. Get below 60 and I get cold. Had a great time visiting with my sister and my BT sisters (Holly and Becky). Flew home so I could be here before hubby left for a week in Paris….poor baby! If he doesn’t bring me home the Eiffel Tower I’m gonna be really pissed..LOL. Okay I’ll settle for some chocolate truffles or something.

Hey all!
Where is everyone? I just got back from Minnesota today, it was my first time up there and it was “Awesome” I saw the vikings live and went to the mall of America and saw tons of sharks! My second passion after Henry! I had such a wonderful time with Quinton, and it was the best thing to happen for me since Bruce died last year! The stadium had 63,000 people for Sunday’s game and its the first time I have been in an area with so many people and so much purple! ha! I hope you all had a nice weekend too! now I have to get ready for mid-terms this week. wish me luck!

, i survived my first session crowd surfing too yay ^^! i also managed to high 5 the vocalist of one of the support bands (Malefice), there was only one real let down at the gig, that was Suicide Silence. but thats a whole new story involving many swears. so i won’t post it ^^ anyhoww, thought you’d like to know about my recent activities as i seem to disappear a lot on these blogs

How are you dear? miss you! LD, Kudos on seeing Devil driver and the crowd surf, was it fun? My Bruce did it at every concery he went to and I often wondered how he managed to escape without injury!ha! I commend you on high fiving the front man or woman of any band. I sang dead memories with the lead singer of slip knot at the concert I went too. It was amazing and I know Bruce would have been suprised at me cause that was his fav band. SO just keep rockin’ kid cause even at my age, it can only get better!

yeah, well, actually crwdsurfing was fun, but having crowd surfers dropped on your head isn’t d-_-b especailly when he’s big and heavy =[, bu hell, at leasti came out without concussion XD, i have a mild case of whiplash haha too much moshin’ ^-^, i guarentee you, even when im in my 80’s i’ll be sitting n my rocking chair by the fire with a metallica t shirt on, whiskey in a flask and a bright purple mohawk with many tatoos aswell XD haha,, nice to hear from you pokey ^^

I was wondering about you! Yes, I’m healing but I still can’t sing and it pisses me off! I hope work isn’t wearing you out too much, I can’t physically help you but I can pray that your work load will become less and easier to deal with! I am working my butt off trying to bring one of my grades up before the end the term; it really suffered while I was in the hospital and right now I have an F in the class, A lot of it is due to attendance issues though, thats like the seventh deadly sin at Kaplan. YAY! I survived halloween unscathed – I usually have either the house or the truck windows get egged. I know it sounds a bit snivelly, but not having to clean one or more sets of windows in near-freezing weather is a reason to celebrate.

Saw 6 was awesome. Paranormal Activity was a big disapointement.

Hey Pokey Which Dark Hunter series are you reading?
Currently I’m reading two different series one by Sherrilyn Kenyon and the other by Christine Feehan – I’m seriously enjoying them both.
The Phone Call will have one more chapter and I’m still working out some kinks with ARCANES before I can post more. But as long as there’s someone out there that cares, I’ll keep writing.
Both my sons and one daughter-in-law were over last night along with a mutual friend. My husband and the four of them played board games while I read. It was fun to hear there laughter.
I can’t imagine the pain you must feel over your loss. The only comfort I can offer is your memories of laughter. Hang on to the best of memories and let the rest go.

I am always reading BT fanfic, I am actually reading both the dark hunter and legion series both, I just fininshed Born of night and I have started Night Embrace, I love these books. I am almost finished. four terms isn’t that long when they are only ten weeks long. two classes a term makes it easier to tackle 6credit classes. Hi all… hope everyone is doing well! Sorry haven’t been around much, have missed you all though!
As ya know the hubby has been laid off for the last 10 months… and things were getting pretty tough around here.. BUT good news to share. He starts a new job on Mon. after Thanksgiving! WOOT! The job is at one of the Co. working for the space center in Florida. Which means another move for us. So I’ll be in an out… hope to catch up with everyone and write more on my One last Bid Story soon too!!

how are you guys, I was beginning to think I had been in a ghost town around here. Thanksgiving was a very quiet day at my house. One son and his wife are in Germany for a vacation. The other son and his wife went to his in-laws. So hubby and I went to a movie and I made a crock-pot dinner for TG.

This fandom has an obscene number of really good writers and it’s sad to see one ‘leave the nest’. I love you guys and everyone else around here. I’ve never run across a more talented and generous bunch of folks.

I agree with Thea, Pokey, posting your stuff on TB will probably give more people an opportunity to read it. I’ve been toying with an idea for over a year now, but I’ve gotta do a whack of research before I start writing anything (to say nothing of finishing my DG project).

Morning all,
Just quickly dropping by to say hi before I venture out for a day (or less if I’m really lucky) of full-contact Christmas shopping.
Sorry I haven’t been around much. Just when I thought the worst of the panic at work was over, I got dumped on again and I have no idea anymore if I’ll ever dig myself out. My only saving grace is I don’t have to make Christmas dinner as I thought I was going to have to this year – my sister is too lazy to drive to across town to my place, so I let myself get sucked into driving to hers. There are times when being a push over has its benefits
I suppose I’d better think about getting moving – the roads and weather will probably be as big a fight as the crowds at the mall. It’s snowed twice more since the blizzard last week, but the temp is supposed to really crater over the weekend. It was -12C when I got home last night but the high for today is only supposed to be -26C and my truck doesn’t like it much when it gets that cold. I won’t tell you what they’re forecasting for the next week because I figure the guys at Environment Canada are all comedians who couldn’t get a job anywhere else. Besides who else but a weather guy can be completely wrong 99% of the time and still keep their job?

How’s the homework going? Trying to do a course from home is a bit different animal than going to classes, isn’t it? It requires a degree of discipline that I don’t think I have anymore
I don’t envy the weather you were having, getting around must be brutal. The cold snap finally broke around here yesterday (thank god). There were new record lows and wind chills all over the place. I heard that over the weekend Edmonton, which is about 300 miles north of me, got down to -40C and the wind chill made it feel like -50. So glad I don’t live there anymore!
I’m working on a ‘care package’ for you, Pokey. It’ll take me a bit to put together, so it probably won’t reach you until the new year, but it is coming. Think of it as a second Xmas from parts unknown

Hows it going? Quinton passed his RN boards yesterday! Yay Quinton!!! He will be getting his license in the mail soon; I am so proud of him, he has worked so hard to get here! Not sure how many of you are still following Kyle, but apparently there was a journalist in Memphis who’s had a ’sexiest man in the vamp realm’ poll going on her blog for the last week or so who didn’t have Kyle on her list (what’s up with that!). The ladies over at Kyle’s Korner convinced her to add Kyle (2 days after the poll started) and our boy beat out 18 other guys, including Robert Pattinson, by the time the poll closed at mindnight! Made my New Year’s morning

Just thought I’d stop in and say hi before I start getting ready for bed. Got a couple of New Year’s resolutions to try and keep – getting more sleep and learning to leave work at work. I think the work one will be the really tough one.
Pokey and SM, I have some good news for you. I’ve finally gotten around to working some more on the Defying Gravity summaries. I’ve gotten about half way through episode 11 over the past couple of days. Hopefully it won’t take me too long to get it done and posted. I read, though, that DG is supposed to be coming out on DVD in February, including the episodes that weren’t aired in the US. If I remember correctly, they’re talking about charging $50 for the regular DVD version and about $60 for Blueray. Not sure if I’m prepared to spend that kind of money for 13 episodes. Luckily it’s still running on Space up here, so I can record it.

Congrats Pokey! With all the hard work you put in to your school work, it’s not surprising you made the Dean’s list.
Not sure if anyone else has seen it yet, but DVD on TV is reporting that there’s gonna be a new BT complete series set as well as a Bluray version coming out in the April. The company with the DVD rights has to be making a buck on the original 2 disks to justify two new sets.

It figures that they would think to go all out now! Thanks rogue, I was so shocked, I pulled it out of the mailbox thinking it was something bad, and got the suprise of my life upon seeing that’ I was dumbfounded but I am very happy and proud of myself.
