Hello Hank! An awesome page! Last Friday, I sent the last birthday packages. Jude’s birthday is this Sunday, May 3rd. Last Saturday, my father and I are heading to DC to see the musical Ragtime at the Kennedy Center. We are about 100 feet away from the performing arts center, the car craps out on us. He try to start it again and it didn’t work. He called the auto club, Triple AAA and told them what was the situation. They were there within the half hour. The tow truck took us to our mechanic and brought us home. The car is working fine now, the mechanics couldn’t find anything wrong with it. The car started up right away for them with no problems. Thank God, that we have a second car to count on. I told the mechanics, I think I have the phantom car. I love you all!

Just stopping by to say hi. I can relate to your vehicle problems, Vandy. My old truck did the same kind of thing to me on the way home in the middle of rush hour and it took nearly 2 hours to get a tow. At least you didn’t have to sit waiting for too terribly long.
How goes the homework, Pokey? Sounds like you’re busier than a one-armed paper hanger. Hope you get a chance to relax a bit over the weekend. Also hoping your stomach has settled down and you won’t have to get those iron shots for much longer. Almost seems like the side effects cancel out the good they’re supposed to do.
Sorry to wave and run, but I’ve gotta be up really early tomorrow – got an 8am hair cut appointment (what the heck was I thinking?) so I’d better get some sleep or I’ll never drag myself out of bed in the morning.
Hi X, I am feeling quite a bit better; I am getting over a respiratory infection. I have been on antibiotics for a week. 875 mi twice a day. I am feeling more energetic, so I guess the iron is helping and I see my doctor Monday then they will do labs to see if I need to continue with the transfusions of iron. School is school, as you know, I did a total of 3 essay papers, and 2 case studies this weekend. Well hope you all have a great day. I have one more case study to do for Tues. Love and miss everyone!
Hope you had a good weekend. So I managed to get up and make it for my haircut at the crack of dawn on Saturday morning then proceeded to fall asleep in the chair while I was waiting for my color job to cook. Didn’t think I was that tired, but I guess school stress is still catching up with me

Hi how is everyone? I have to take my kane to the vet tomorrow, he has a cyst on his eye and a big tumor looking thing on his tale underneath his fur. Its just sitting on the top of his tale. It looks so gross and I just discovered it today. My poor kitty! I feel like crying, he’s my baby, I can’t loose him too!! I hope its not any type of cancer on him. I will check in again soon.

got some fairly good news and some not so good news. One, my lab results came back and said that my thyroid level is ok but my iron is still too low. I don’t understand why I am not keeping it in. On the subject of my Kane,She wants to see him Thursday, to cut off the cyst and tumor looking thing,send them to a pathologist and have him tested for low thyroid. Also, his shots are due and all of this is gonna run around $500. AAAAAAAAAAH!!!!! Help! My poor baby! other than that I am fabulous and have 4 assignments due in two weeks for one class. Am I insane?

Hey Pokey, glad to hear the sawbones have ruled out thyroid issues. Just a matter of time before they get the iron thing figured out. I’m sure Kane’s tests will come back fine, although that vet bill will be tough to swallow. Don’t work too hard and burn yourself out!

Mary, hope all goes well with your cat, Kane! Thyroid issues are surprisingly common in cats and dogs! I have a feeling its all the chemical crap in dog food.. but hey what do I know.
I’ve have bouts with low iron, the only thing that brought mine us was taking ferrous sulfate. (see that thyroid web site I sent you for more info)
You could try adding some natural stuff high in iron, could be your body has a hard time absorbing it they way you are getting it?? Health food stores have tons of different kinds of *greens* all high in easily absorbable iron. Seaweeds, like kelp, spirulina.. anyway just an idea.. and so much easier on the stomach!

My tatto: A five pointed star in the design of a Celtic knot with ivy and flowers circling it. On left shoulder about 1 1/2 inches in diameter. The star teal shaded to navy blue – green ivy and 5 different color flowers. Tatto artist worked with me on basic design and colors – it actually goes with everything I wear – peeks out at the neckline of my clothes. Hubby thinks I’m nuts for getting one – but that’s been a given for years.

Hi all. Just a drive by to let you know I’m still alive! The problem with vacations is that the crazy starts again the minute you get back. Lemondemon and I had a blast! Lying by the pool listening to Avenged Sevenfold, Bullet for My Valentine, Metallica, Slipknot, so he was in hog heaven. The hardest decision I made for 2 whole weeks was when to turn over.
Mary hope your kitty is fine, but must admit the vet bill sounds scary. Vets are really expensive here, so it’s very necessary to have pet insurance. Congrats on graduating too, you have every reason to be so proud of yourself.

I have to admit – I’m glad that I’ve reached retirement age. No more schooling, certificates to update or CEU credits need to be earned. I’ve spent my entire working career getting letters after my name and now thanks to the economy all my IRA savings are devalued and it looks like SS will not be so good for the long hall. Well that’s life I guess. As long as I can pay for internet all is not lost.

Stupid busy for the last week, so I haven’t had much of a chance to stick my head in. Last weekend was the Victoria Day weekend here and I only managed to get an hour and a half outside and spent the rest of the three days cooking (I’d rather go through a root canal with no anesthetic) and fighting with my wireless connection. Guess I’ll have to wait for my holidays in July to relax. Weren’t things supposed to slow down once school was done?

Nothing much cooking in my little world (except work), but I still need to get some sleep. The ‘plan’ is to get up early and get the house cleaned so I can spend the rest of the day out in the sun and relax some on Sunday. The ‘plan’ never really seems to pan out like I intend, but you’ve gotta dream about something, right?
Glad to hear your doing ok, and things are going well for you too! As far as school goes. Keeping up is only half the battle,its like this for me every week. The bachelors program here has you doing twice the work in the same amount to time you did for the associates program. I am slowly getting used to the pace, but its a little rough at times. Where is everyone? I am good, working on the case study presentation for next week and then one paper for employment and staffing. I should then be set until then. Anyone else get emial about the dvd giveaway from bloodties central. I got an e-mail from bloodties collaberative that they are having a dvd giveaway to those that can tell them the real Henry Fitzroy’s birthday. I couldn’t even get the e-mail link they had to work. Anyone else try this?

Pokey, I got an email from the Blood Ties Collaborative, but didn’t go through that link. I went to the Collaborative site itself and took the link from there to Blood Ties Central and entered the contest. Maybe give that route a try rather than the email link?
C, I’m getting more confused by the day about the DVD release. I had pre-ordered on the US Amazon site as well as Chapters up here. Last week, I got an email from Amazon saying the release was delayed and asking me if I wanted to keep the order or cancel it. There’s been nothing on the Capters site about a release delay.
When I checked my email this evening, I had a message from Chapters that the copy of the Blood Ties DVD I ordered had shipped from Toronto today, so I should have it sometime Monday or Tuesday I would guess.
I don’t know if Chapters has really good relationships with their suppliers or what, but this is the second thing I’ve ordered from them recently that I’ve received earlier than expected. I ordered Tanya Huff’s new book, which was supposed to be released on Tuesday as well, at the same time as the BT DVD, but I got that late last week. The only reason I can think of for the delay in the US is a shipping issue or something like that. I’ll be interested to see if anybody comes up with a legit sounding reason for the delay (I seriously doubt we’ll ever know the real reason).
Been getting to bed way too late all this week and I’m really starting to drag my butt, so I’m off to hit the sack. Have a great evening everyone!

Looks like we’re back on for a June 2 DVD release. The tvshowsondvd web site has backtracked on the date even though I got an email from Amazon about the delay. Could be Amazon’s got distribution issues. I’m almost at the point where I don’t care what date it comes out, I just wanna know it’s coming out on whatever date we’re told. It makes me shudder to think what kind of runaround we’re gonna get when the ’second’ season comes out.

I got my copy today, and have been wathcing it every since I got home. I found mine at Best Buy. Its so awesome and such a relaxing way to spend an evening after getting stuck by needles 4 times before they found a vein to take the IV. Oh, Pokey! I hope they didn’t perforate you too badly! I’m holding off on plugging my dvd into the machine until Saturday, my regular movie night. Gonna sit back, crack open a good bottle, maybe splurge on a bit of dessert and do a BT marathon.

I am so sorry I haven;t been here in awhile. This past month has been crazy for me again. I just finished my classes with my students this week. I have my own business. I teach my students how to sing, how to dance, and how to act in a full hour class session per week. They love it. Tonight class, we put on our informal concert for their parents. They were very pleased and delighted. Last Friday, I had sent a graduation package to Tinley Park, Illinois. This young lady is graduating from college this Saturday, June 6th. I just can’t believe it that Brittney was starting college four years ago. Boy, the time flies by so fast.

Well, I finished one of my three 8 page finals this morning. This one was on The Love Canal disaster of 1978 in New york. It is for Ethics and the Legal environment. Now, I only have my employment and staffing, and Management, policy and strategy finals to write then I will be done. I have until the 19th so thats not too bad. Right before we left I got my Blood Ties DVD in the mail. I was a little upset when the behind the scenes they had was what a Candana television station shot (Hyper Space-Space TV). I put the link up here over a year ago. Now having seen that before I was upset it was the same thing. When Dylan and Kyle both said they did lots of stuff or the DVD that was not what I expected. I should have known better.
Now we are home and I am washing the tons of clothes from our trip. I think we brought home half the sand from the beach. I still feel it on my skin.
We had a good time but being with the girls in a hotel room, no matter how nice, is not easy. You take them away from what they know and they don’t deal well. Now I’m home and I need A vaction from my vaction! LOL.

Dropping in to say hi before I go to bed. Yes, Pokey, I am the token Canuck. I live in Calgary and weird weather is the norm around here. Thankfully Saturday’s snow was really fine and only lasted a couple hours then was completely melted about half an hour after it stopped. The downside is I’m one of the ‘lucky’ few that get what we call chinook headaches – the noodle can’t keep up with the rapid changes in air pressure when the weather changes really fast and you end up with a migraine, so I’ve been running in first gear for the last couple days. Hopefully it won’t last too much longer – it’s a bit of a drag.

Missed you and thought of you during my abbreviated BT marathon (I fell asleep half way through Bad Juju). I generally don’t get too worked up about the extras on DVD myself, but I can see how it would be rather disappointing if you were expecting something else. We’ve still got the second half of the series to come, maybe they’ll surprise us and get it out before Christmas with a whack of new extras.
My head seems to be trying to explode tonight and the only thing I can really do is sleep through it, so I’m off to bed. Have a great evening all!
I am so sorry you are suffering from migranes. I have been around people who have had them a lot and I wouldn’t wish that on asteroth! Though a little BT humor would help you smile! but anyway, I hope you feel better soon and yes, make sure you get plenty of rest when you can. Are you on Medication for the headaches? Thanks for the thoughts. Seems like the brain pain is backing off a bit, but it looks like the weather is gonna be bouncing around for the next little while, so I’m not sure it’ll last long. These things are seasonal (spring is the worst), and I’ve been pretty lucky this year, so I don’t take anything special. Besides, most doctors in town that you mention chinook headache to just think you’re from Mars – apparently it’s an ‘undocumented’ phenomenon.
How’s the homework battle coming? Are you starting to see the end of the tunnel yet or is it still an uphill battle? I seem to remember you mentioning that you’ve got classes for another month or so then you turn around and start another batch. Am I right?
Yes you are right to an extent. this term ends on the 19th and then I am done until July 1st. So not a whole lot of time but just enough to breathe, I am getting to the end, I am almost finished with one paper and then I have to critique another, and on the third one. I have to finish up a Powerpoint presentation, do one more section and then add all sections together to make one big paper and then I am done.
“WHEW” did I say all of that? anyway thats it in a nut shell. I am glad that you are feeling somewhat better. you should ask your doctor if he’s ever heard of web MD and see what he says! ha! I will be off an on today so come back by and drop me a line if you feel up to it.

Glad you guys are starting to get your DVDs through, I was feeling as if I had a guilty little secret all this time. We didn’t get any extras, which would have been nice, but at least we got the DVDs over 12 months ago. Mine are nearly worn out!

Hope you had a good day. Mine was strangely productive – I finally got an online bank account, the last piece of a company the Fearless Leader has incorporated in the Barbados, up and running. The whole operation only took me 9 months. Insanely glad that one’s over. Now I get to wrestle with the Canada Revenue Agency about tax accounts for two more companies. The entertainment never ends .
I was very careful in the sun yesterday, Pokey. It’s only taken me 40-odd years to figure out how to do it without barbequing myself into oblivion – baste with SPF30 and roast for 2 hours at 20 degrees C or higher, flipping every 30 minutes. You end up nicely browned by the end of the summer but not overcooked. Serve with mashed potatoes and gravy.

Pokey, a while back you had asked if anyone knew when the second DVD set would be out. While I was wandering around another site this evening, I ran across a link to the DVD distributor’s site (I think) and they’ve got the release date for the second set as 10/06/09. I could be completely wrong, cause I’ve also heard rumours of September and Christmas release dates, so that date probably needs to be taken with a grain of salt.

It says just in time for halloween, so hopefully, its true the statement comes from the people who produced and distributed the first season. So lets hope.

Glad to see so many of you on TB these days too. It’s nice to see new stories up. Still not able to review as much as I’d like, but time pressures mean I spend all my spare time trying to keep the momentum going on my current effort.
Lemondemon’s gone off to a gig tonight – he’s gone to see Soulfly – they’re some kind of Brazilian Metal fusion band – work that one out.
I know soulfly, my Bruce used to listen to them too when he was alive. He had so many different bands he liked to listen too. Tell LD to rock on for my Bruce! I got an A in Management policy and strategy; the rest of my grades aren’t in yet but I think I did pretty good.I am on BT every day, most of the time 5am and in the evening I read stories and review for at least 4hours or so. I love it there, its my home away from home; you all keep up the great writing and I’ll keep reading and reviewing. Love all the stories, there is so much talent I hope it sticks around forever!

Soulfly, well, what can i say. Right at the front, against the barriers, the support band were pretty heavy, really got the crowd going, but as soon as Max came on, we were all chanting “blood!, Fire, War, Hate!” until they came on, when they did the whole place got torn up they did a few badass covers too!!!! >.<, creeping Death by Metallica and Raining Blood by Slayer!, when they played Doom the whole place went completely Ape! It was probably my fave gig ever, i got a high 5 from the bassist!, and Max gave me the devil horns WOOOO!!
I remember last month when Quinton and I went to DesMoines to see Twizted, I never seen such a huge juggalo gathering since the last time I saw ICP in Concert. which was about a year ago, I love them; they let me hang out with them and take some pics. It was so cool! A big group of us by the back gate got to sing dead Memories with Corey at the SlipKnot concert last month Here in Cedar Rapids, it really feels good to be noticed by them doesn’t it? My Bruce would have had a cow! I am glad you had a good time. next time you go, get me an autograph and I will do the same for you at the next concert I go to. Thank you Thea, I thought it was an A but it turned out to be a B but thats ok, I am still over the moon; A, B is what I got in M,P,&S and E,&L,E. Management, Policy and Strategy,) and Ethics & the Legal Environment.) I am only waiting on the one for Employment and staffing. I am at a 3.0 right now for a GPA.
Just dropping in to say hi after a strangely productive weekend – got the house cleaned, the kitchen floor washed, bills paid, a half-dead plant repotted (it’s been waiting for that since Xmas) and still managed to get a couple hours out in the sun. Too bad my days at work dont’ seem to be quite as productive.
Watched a rerun of 5:55 today. Never ceases to amaze me that even after watching it as often as I have, I still find new things in it each time I watch it. If only the Great TV God would bring BT back for us *sigh*.

Hi everyone!!! I know Iam a bad member, I don’t log in much, BUT I think about you all daily, I have come to realize something that I am the glue holding my family together and my life is no longer my own. But that’s ok – at least we are all together. I’m so happy to be able to log on today – I ordered the BT DVD and cant wait to see it I should have it wed or thurs. I can’t wait til Kyles movie fear island comes out I heard it will be in the theaters??? Could be wrong but that’s what I read somewhere.
I try to scan through and read from time to time even if I don’t log in, just to keep up on how you all are doing. I miss the days when I left my computer on to this page and would chat every 10 -15 minutes. I hope everyone is well. Hubby has started a rehabilition program through the state, my oldest son is raising rabbits for 4-h showing. We recently went to the pound and got a new dog, called him Zip, hes a shepherd boxer mix with lots of energy. Our 11 yr old German Shepherd was having problems and we had to put her down. Me…I run around do the mom wife thing, I’m taking classes in the fall to add to my degree so i’ll be more marketable for job hunting. Well I’ll quit babbling wanted to say hi – and I can’t wait for BT to arrive I’ve needed a fix for a LONG time. Bye everyone!!!

I am so disgusted this morning; I just heard on the news how they found a baby in a car last night on the campus of UNI (University of Northern Iowa) and all of the windows were rolled up. Can you imagine that especially as hot as it was! Damn them! They took the baby to the hospital and amazingly it survived. When I hear things like that I get so angry. I heard about the season two release as well and I am so excited.

I think the only thing we can do is get a whole new one. Thing is I don’t have the money for that. At least I know Hank is here to take care of you all.

Hi everyone back again this morning, I’m making effort…lol. WOW its hot as Hell out there!!! Literally… I have been outside the last several days working in the garden, and installing our pond that we are putting in, and it’s like whew…HOT However today we are going to a friends to swim LOTS OF SPF 30… BUT on Friday we are taking the kids to the drive in to see Transformers – I can’t wait I LOVED the first one…more than I thought I would.
MY DVD should be here today or tomorrow, KYLE I can’t wait. Well I’m signing off for today b/c I have some chores to do before go swim.
RE: the baby in the car – yea that angers me too, I had to jump thorough hoops to adopt our dog from the pound and any moron can have a baby. I don’t know if people are stupid or careless – I won’t get on the soap box b/c I could go on forever. Anyway you all have a great day and I’ll check back soon!
Very sad to hear about the baby in the car. I had a situation like that yesterday with a friends cousin leaving a baby in the car. The baby is ok, but my friend did call child services. I don’t know how people can do stuff like that.

Hello Hank! An awesome page! Last Friday, I sent the last birthday packages. Jude’s birthday is this Sunday, May 3rd. Last Saturday, my father and I are heading to DC to see the musical Ragtime at the Kennedy Center. We are about 100 feet away from the performing arts center, the car craps out on us. He try to start it again and it didn’t work. He called the auto club, Triple AAA and told them what was the situation. They were there within the half hour. The tow truck took us to our mechanic and brought us home. The car is working fine now, the mechanics couldn’t find anything wrong with it. The car started up right away for them with no problems. Thank God, that we have a second car to count on. I told the mechanics, I think I have the phantom car. I love you all!

Just stopping by to say hi. I can relate to your vehicle problems, Vandy. My old truck did the same kind of thing to me on the way home in the middle of rush hour and it took nearly 2 hours to get a tow. At least you didn’t have to sit waiting for too terribly long.
How goes the homework, Pokey? Sounds like you’re busier than a one-armed paper hanger. Hope you get a chance to relax a bit over the weekend. Also hoping your stomach has settled down and you won’t have to get those iron shots for much longer. Almost seems like the side effects cancel out the good they’re supposed to do.
Sorry to wave and run, but I’ve gotta be up really early tomorrow – got an 8am hair cut appointment (what the heck was I thinking?) so I’d better get some sleep or I’ll never drag myself out of bed in the morning.

Hi X, I am feeling quite a bit better; I am getting over a respiratory infection. I have been on antibiotics for a week. 875 mi twice a day. I am feeling more energetic, so I guess the iron is helping and I see my doctor Monday then they will do labs to see if I need to continue with the transfusions of iron. School is school, as you know, I did a total of 3 essay papers, and 2 case studies this weekend. Well hope you all have a great day. I have one more case study to do for Tues. Love and miss everyone!

Hope you had a good weekend. So I managed to get up and make it for my haircut at the crack of dawn on Saturday morning then proceeded to fall asleep in the chair while I was waiting for my color job to cook. Didn’t think I was that tired, but I guess school stress is still catching up with me

Hi how is everyone? I have to take my kane to the vet tomorrow, he has a cyst on his eye and a big tumor looking thing on his tale underneath his fur. Its just sitting on the top of his tale. It looks so gross and I just discovered it today. My poor kitty! I feel like crying, he’s my baby, I can’t loose him too!! I hope its not any type of cancer on him. I will check in again soon.

Hey all,
got some fairly good news and some not so good news. One, my lab results came back and said that my thyroid level is ok but my iron is still too low. I don’t understand why I am not keeping it in. On the subject of my Kane,She wants to see him Thursday, to cut off the cyst and tumor looking thing,send them to a pathologist and have him tested for low thyroid. Also, his shots are due and all of this is gonna run around $500. AAAAAAAAAAH!!!!! Help! My poor baby! other than that I am fabulous and have 4 assignments due in two weeks for one class. Am I insane?

Mary, hope all goes well with your cat, Kane! Thyroid issues are surprisingly common in cats and dogs! I have a feeling its all the chemical crap in dog food.. but hey what do I know.
I’ve have bouts with low iron, the only thing that brought mine us was taking ferrous sulfate. (see that thyroid web site I sent you for more info)
You could try adding some natural stuff high in iron, could be your body has a hard time absorbing it they way you are getting it?? Health food stores have tons of different kinds of *greens* all high in easily absorbable iron. Seaweeds, like kelp, spirulina.. anyway just an idea.. and so much easier on the stomach!

My tatto: A five pointed star in the design of a Celtic knot with ivy and flowers circling it. On left shoulder about 1 1/2 inches in diameter. The star teal shaded to navy blue – green ivy and 5 different color flowers. Tatto artist worked with me on basic design and colors – it actually goes with everything I wear – peeks out at the neckline of my clothes. Hubby thinks I’m nuts for getting one – but that’s been a given for years.

Hi all. Just a drive by to let you know I’m still alive! The problem with vacations is that the crazy starts again the minute you get back. Lemondemon and I had a blast! Lying by the pool listening to Avenged Sevenfold, Bullet for My Valentine, Metallica, Slipknot, so he was in hog heaven. The hardest decision I made for 2 whole weeks was when to turn over.
Mary hope your kitty is fine, but must admit the vet bill sounds scary. Vets are really expensive here, so it’s very necessary to have pet insurance. Congrats on graduating too, you have every reason to be so proud of yourself.
X-Rogue – it’s about time you got a chance to relax a bit too and get in some me time. Enjoy your book.

I have to admit – I’m glad that I’ve reached retirement age. No more schooling, certificates to update or CEU credits need to be earned. I’ve spent my entire working career getting letters after my name and now thanks to the economy all my IRA savings are devalued and it looks like SS will not be so good for the long hall. Well that’s life I guess. As long as I can pay for internet all is not lost.
Sorry for the whining. I’m proud of each and every one of you that’s studying to improve themselves. Keep up the good work.

Hi all,
Stupid busy for the last week, so I haven’t had much of a chance to stick my head in. Last weekend was the Victoria Day weekend here and I only managed to get an hour and a half outside and spent the rest of the three days cooking (I’d rather go through a root canal with no anesthetic) and fighting with my wireless connection. Guess I’ll have to wait for my holidays in July to relax. Weren’t things supposed to slow down once school was done?

How are all of you? “God” I miss our chats on here!But I like everyone else have been so damned busy; today, I have to write a 3-5 page paper on the strategies and choices for GE, then, I have to answer 3 chapters of notes online and two discussion questions for two different class, all before next Tuesday. “Whew” I really love this contest hank started, its the bomb” I will also be glad when our Chrissy comes back home to us, I know you all miss her just as much as I do! well have a great day everybody and don’t work too hard.

Glad to hear your doing ok, and things are going well for you too! As far as school goes. Keeping up is only half the battle,its like this for me every week. The bachelors program here has you doing twice the work in the same amount to time you did for the associates program. I am slowly getting used to the pace, but its a little rough at times. The term has 4 weeks left in it then the second of 7 starts. Enjoy your sun time, Yes, Hank has really made a lot of changes and the contest is the most awesome thing ever! you will love it!

Hey guys. Still doing laundry here, shocked I know. I’m trying to catch up on my email and get stuff done here. I think I get as much junk mail on the computer as I do the regular mail.
I did look around and see about the DVD coming out at the end of June, then another saying it will still be June 2nd. Anyone know which is right? After two years it’s driving me crazy to STILL mot know whats going on.

Pokey, I got an email from the Blood Ties Collaborative, but didn’t go through that link. I went to the Collaborative site itself and took the link from there to Blood Ties Central and entered the contest. Maybe give that route a try rather than the email link?
C, I’m getting more confused by the day about the DVD release. I had pre-ordered on the US Amazon site as well as Chapters up here. Last week, I got an email from Amazon saying the release was delayed and asking me if I wanted to keep the order or cancel it. There’s been nothing on the Capters site about a release delay.
When I checked my email this evening, I had a message from Chapters that the copy of the Blood Ties DVD I ordered had shipped from Toronto today, so I should have it sometime Monday or Tuesday I would guess.
I don’t know if Chapters has really good relationships with their suppliers or what, but this is the second thing I’ve ordered from them recently that I’ve received earlier than expected. I ordered Tanya Huff’s new book, which was supposed to be released on Tuesday as well, at the same time as the BT DVD, but I got that late last week. The only reason I can think of for the delay in the US is a shipping issue or something like that. I’ll be interested to see if anybody comes up with a legit sounding reason for the delay (I seriously doubt we’ll ever know the real reason).
Been getting to bed way too late all this week and I’m really starting to drag my butt, so I’m off to hit the sack. Have a great evening everyone!

Looks like we’re back on for a June 2 DVD release. The tvshowsondvd web site has backtracked on the date even though I got an email from Amazon about the delay. Could be Amazon’s got distribution issues. I’m almost at the point where I don’t care what date it comes out, I just wanna know it’s coming out on whatever date we’re told. It makes me shudder to think what kind of runaround we’re gonna get when the ’second’ season comes out.

I got my copy today, and have been wathcing it every since I got home. I found mine at Best Buy. Its so awesome and such a relaxing way to spend an evening after getting stuck by needles 4 times before they found a vein to take the IV. Hello all!
I am so sorry I haven;t been here in awhile. This past month has been crazy for me again. I just finished my classes with my students this week. I have my own business. I teach my students how to sing, how to dance, and how to act in a full hour class session per week. They love it. Tonight class, we put on our informal concert for their parents. They were very pleased and delighted. Last Friday, I had sent a graduation package to Tinley Park, Illinois. This young lady is graduating from college this Saturday, June 6th. I just can’t believe it that Brittney was starting college four years ago. Boy, the time flies by so fast.
Xrogue and Pokey, you girls are so lucky to watch our beloved and sexy Henry. Xrogue, a very belated congratulations on your finals. Chrissy, my dear friend, you have a great time at the beach this weekend. Good night all! Love you all!

Hello all. I’ve missed you all so much. I hope you all are well and fine.
Right before we left I got my Blood Ties DVD in the mail. I was a little upset when the behind the scenes they had was what a Candana television station shot (Hyper Space-Space TV). I put the link up here over a year ago. Now having seen that before I was upset it was the same thing. When Dylan and Kyle both said they did lots of stuff or the DVD that was not what I expected. I should have known better.
Now we are home and I am washing the tons of clothes from our trip. I think we brought home half the sand from the beach. I still feel it on my skin.
We had a good time but being with the girls in a hotel room, no matter how nice, is not easy. You take them away from what they know and they don’t deal well. Now I’m home and I need A vaction from my vaction! LOL.
I thought about all of you while I was away. I adore each of you!

Dropping in to say hi before I go to bed. Yes, Pokey, I am the token Canuck. I live in Calgary and weird weather is the norm around here. Thankfully Saturday’s snow was really fine and only lasted a couple hours then was completely melted about half an hour after it stopped. The downside is I’m one of the ‘lucky’ few that get what we call chinook headaches – the noodle can’t keep up with the rapid changes in air pressure when the weather changes really fast and you end up with a migraine, so I’ve been running in first gear for the last couple days. Hopefully it won’t last too much longer – it’s a bit of a drag.
Glad you had a good time at the beach, C. I can understand the need for a vacation from your vacation. Missed you and thought of you during my abbreviated BT marathon (I fell asleep half way through Bad Juju). I generally don’t get too worked up about the extras on DVD myself, but I can see how it would be rather disappointing if you were expecting something else. We’ve still got the second half of the series to come, maybe they’ll surprise us and get it out before Christmas with a whack of new extras.
My head seems to be trying to explode tonight and the only thing I can really do is sleep through it, so I’m off to bed. Have a great evening all!

Thanks for the thoughts. Seems like the brain pain is backing off a bit, but it looks like the weather is gonna be bouncing around for the next little while, so I’m not sure it’ll last long. These things are seasonal (spring is the worst), and I’ve been pretty lucky this year, so I don’t take anything special. Besides, most doctors in town that you mention chinook headache to just think you’re from Mars – apparently it’s an ‘undocumented’ phenomenon.
How’s the homework battle coming? Are you starting to see the end of the tunnel yet or is it still an uphill battle? I seem to remember you mentioning that you’ve got classes for another month or so then you turn around and start another batch. Am I right?

Yes you are right to an extent. this term ends on the 19th and then I am done until July 1st. So not a whole lot of time but just enough to breathe, I am getting to the end, I am almost finished with one paper and then I have to critique another, and on the third one. I have to finish up a Powerpoint presentation, do one more section and then add all sections together to make one big paper and then I am done.
“WHEW” did I say all of that? anyway thats it in a nut shell. I am glad that you are feeling somewhat better. you should ask your doctor if he’s ever heard of web MD and see what he says! ha! I will be off an on today so come back by and drop me a line if you feel up to it.

Hope you had a good day. Mine was strangely productive – I finally got an online bank account, the last piece of a company the Fearless Leader has incorporated in the Barbados, up and running. The whole operation only took me 9 months. Insanely glad that one’s over. Now I get to wrestle with the Canada Revenue Agency about tax accounts for two more companies. The entertainment never ends

I was very careful in the sun yesterday, Pokey. It’s only taken me 40-odd years to figure out how to do it without barbequing myself into oblivion – baste with SPF30 and roast for 2 hours at 20 degrees C or higher, flipping every 30 minutes. You end up nicely browned by the end of the summer but not overcooked. Serve with mashed potatoes and gravy.
If I’m gonna spend my day on the phone with the tax guy, I’d better get some sleep. Have a great evening everyone!

While I was wandering around another site this evening, I ran across a link to the DVD distributor’s site (I think) and they’ve got the release date for the second set as 10/06/09. I could be completely wrong, cause I’ve also heard rumours of September and Christmas release dates, so that date probably needs to be taken with a grain of salt.

Glad to see so many of you on TB these days too. It’s nice to see new stories up. Still not able to review as much as I’d like, but time pressures mean I spend all my spare time trying to keep the momentum going on my current effort.

I know soulfly, my Bruce used to listen to them too when he was alive. He had so many different bands he liked to listen too. Tell LD to rock on for my Bruce! I got an A in Management policy and strategy; the rest of my grades aren’t in yet but I think I did pretty good.I am on BT every day, most of the time 5am and in the evening I read stories and review for at least 4hours or so. I love it there, its my home away from home; you all keep up the great writing and I’ll keep reading and reviewing. Love all the stories, there is so much talent I hope it sticks around forever!

Soulfly, well, what can i say. Right at the front, against the barriers, the support band were pretty heavy, really got the crowd going, but as soon as Max came on, we were all chanting “blood!, Fire, War, Hate!” until they came on, when they did the whole place got torn up they did a few badass covers too!!!! >.<, creeping Death by Metallica and Raining Blood by Slayer!, when they played Doom the whole place went completely Ape! It was probably my fave gig ever, i got a high 5 from the bassist!, and Max gave me the devil horns WOOOO!!

I remember last month when Quinton and I went to DesMoines to see Twizted, I never seen such a huge juggalo gathering since the last time I saw ICP in Concert. which was about a year ago, I love them; they let me hang out with them and take some pics. It was so cool! A big group of us by the back gate got to sing dead Memories with Corey at the SlipKnot concert last month Here in Cedar Rapids, it really feels good to be noticed by them doesn’t it? My Bruce would have had a cow! I am glad you had a good time. next time you go, get me an autograph and I will do the same for you at the next concert I go to. Thank you Thea, I thought it was an A but it turned out to be a B but thats ok, I am still over the moon; A, B is what I got in M,P,&S and E,&L,E. Management, Policy and Strategy,) and Ethics & the Legal Environment.) I am only waiting on the one for Employment and staffing. I am at a 3.0 right now for a GPA.

Hi All!
Just dropping in to say hi after a strangely productive weekend – got the house cleaned, the kitchen floor washed, bills paid, a half-dead plant repotted (it’s been waiting for that since Xmas) and still managed to get a couple hours out in the sun. Too bad my days at work dont’ seem to be quite as productive.
Watched a rerun of 5:55 today. Never ceases to amaze me that even after watching it as often as I have, I still find new things in it each time I watch it. If only the Great TV God would bring BT back for us *sigh*.
Well, off to TB for my fic fix. Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Hi everyone!!! I know Iam a bad member, I don’t log in much, BUT I think about you all daily, I have come to realize something that I am the glue holding my family together and my life is no longer my own. But that’s ok – at least we are all together. I’m so happy to be able to log on today – I ordered the BT DVD and cant wait to see it I should have it wed or thurs. I can’t wait til Kyles movie fear island comes out I heard it will be in the theaters??? Could be wrong but that’s what I read somewhere.
I try to scan through and read from time to time even if I don’t log in, just to keep up on how you all are doing. I miss the days when I left my computer on to this page and would chat every 10 -15 minutes. I hope everyone is well. Hubby has started a rehabilition program through the state, my oldest son is raising rabbits for 4-h showing. We recently went to the pound and got a new dog, called him Zip, hes a shepherd boxer mix with lots of energy. Our 11 yr old German Shepherd was having problems and we had to put her down. Me…I run around do the mom wife thing, I’m taking classes in the fall to add to my degree so i’ll be more marketable for job hunting. Well I’ll quit babbling wanted to say hi – and I can’t wait for BT to arrive I’ve needed a fix for a LONG time. Bye everyone!!!

How are both of you? Rogue, I am glad you got your house clean and I also wish they would bring back BT. It would be heaven to finally see Vicki and Henry get together on screen. Tweety, glad you are back sweetie, I have missed you tons; I agree with your life belonging to your family; mine has belonged to them since I was born I think, ha! I have been in a sullen mood the past two weeks because Bruce’s birthday is coming up; July 12th he would have turned 26 and I don’t know how I am gonna deal with it. Quinton on the other hand is having a digestive problem and they don’t know what’s causing it. “God” please” don’t let me loose the other one too! I couldn’t bear it! They are my life. I’m sorry I don’t mean to ramble I am just scared. I got my DVD’s at Best Buy on June 2nd and some of the episodes have been freezing, whats up with that? Love you guys, Where is every one else?

Morning all,
I am so disgusted this morning; I just heard on the news how they found a baby in a car last night on the campus of UNI (University of Northern Iowa) and all of the windows were rolled up. Can you imagine that especially as hot as it was! Damn them! They took the baby to the hospital and amazingly it survived. When I hear things like that I get so angry. I heard about the season two release as well and I am so excited.

Hey guys. The computer is acting up again so I thought I’d post while it was being nice. We’ve put the virus and spy ware on and it worked for a little while. I think the only thing we can do is get a whole new one. Thing is I don’t have the money for that. At least I know Hank is here to take care of you all.

Hi everyone back again this morning, I’m making effort…lol. WOW its hot as Hell out there!!! Literally… I have been outside the last several days working in the garden, and installing our pond that we are putting in, and it’s like whew…HOT However today we are going to a friends to swim LOTS OF SPF 30… BUT on Friday we are taking the kids to the drive in to see Transformers – I can’t wait I LOVED the first one…more than I thought I would.
MY DVD should be here today or tomorrow, KYLE I can’t wait. Well I’m signing off for today b/c I have some chores to do before go swim.
RE: the baby in the car – yea that angers me too, I had to jump thorough hoops to adopt our dog from the pound and any moron can have a baby. I don’t know if people are stupid or careless – I won’t get on the soap box b/c I could go on forever. Anyway you all have a great day and I’ll check back soon!

At last! My set of Blood Ties Season 1 DVDs arrived and I’ve ordered the Season 2 set from Amazon.
I’ve retired from my full time job and hope to spend more time doing the things I love which includes reading, crafts, and writing.

Very sad to hear about the baby in the car. I had a situation like that yesterday with a friends cousin leaving a baby in the car. The baby is ok, but my friend did call child services. I don’t know how people can do stuff like that.
