web site. It came up as a goDaddy *parking* site with a bunch of searches and ads. Most of our links to everywhere else have been sitting in the postings for months and months, and now it looks like they are simply no longer accessible.
Does anyone know what’s going on over there?
I heard a rumor that the Region 1 DVD’s are going to be available soon, but I’ve heard that many, many moons (ages) ago, as well.

I went over there and it did the same thing to me; so your not alone. They must have taken the site down. (feeling sad”) I heard the same thing about the DVD, and that it was up to the people who control distrubution rights. If they get everything sorted out, It will come to this region.

I’ve already posted the news over at Virgin-1’s site about not being able to access the forums at BT-bloodlines. However, I’m really hesitant about ever posting again on Lifetime’s blog-forum, because it’s more of a circus (sick joke) over there with those brownie voting points than being able to have intelligent conversation. *sigh*
I will notify the other two non-BT web sites I’ve posted about Blood Ties on, since I can edit my own posts and disable the links in those. My non-BT signature link for *Blood Ties* goes directly to the official BT site, so that’s not a problem.

According to an email I received from Peter Mohan, the dvd’s should be out very soon. He doesn’t know what’s on them, as he wasn’t consulted about the content. Hopefully, we’ll get the stuff we want nd won’t be screwed again, but i’m not counting on it.

Saw an interesting artice on the Variety site – looks like negotiations between the studios and the actors guild have gone in the tank and the guild has announced they’re going to seek strike authorization from their members. No word when the vote will be, but they need 75% approval before they strike, so who knows what’s gonna happen (particularly with the economy the way it is).

We all know who our favorite vampire is – we don’t need no stinking list to tell us Henry Fitzroy, played by Kyle Schmid, is the all time best VAMP in town.
I’m starting to think there’s a conspiracy against Blood Ties out there Can’t believe those bozos at Yahoo left Henry off their list – although from a quick gander at the comments, it looks like they left a whack of classics off the list.
I’m interested to find out how the ‘average joe’ in the actors guild will vote when the strike authorization goes out. From what I’ve been reading since the summer, it might be smarter to take what they can get (assuming the studios haven’t taken anything from their final offer off the table), ride out the economic storm and get tough in the next contract. If they do go on strike, though, at least all of the Blood Ties cast has the option of coming back home to work and ride out the strike, particularly if it drags on for a while.
Hey Pokey, I was going to ask if you had seen Twilight and what you thought about it. I heard on the news on Saturday morning that pretty much all the North American showings were sold out for the entire weekend.
HI everyone! Looks like I’ll have to wait a few days before seeing Twilight. Our local movieplex had 17 showings yesterday and today! Going to see a lawyer this morning to sign papers to have all monies pertaning to Bruce put into an estate and in Probate for a few months so that we can go to court to get the other 10,000. They still haven’t found his dad.

I would love to do the Henry assignment, if someone would take my business plan assignment. I have to work on a fake business plan and need some help in finding competitive ways to lure customers male and female from stores like Lane Bryant, Catherines, Plus Sizes, and Casual male. I’m thinking about what you said in your last post. My girls are both what you would say is overweight. Being disabled makes getting dressed a challange. Maybe you should look at that. More eleastic or something to help people dress themselfs. Just a thought. Or maybe it was the skinny people you needed to look at. Hell don’t they have enough?
Its just for overweight people. I guess I could specialize in velcro fitted clothing for adults and children that are disabled as well. thanks hon, I don’t know why I didn’t think of it sooner, My sister Flora, is in a nursing home and has to have all of her clothes velcroed. I had plumming problems yesterday. The plummer came out and accessed the situation. Here we go, the verdict is two new bathroom faucets. Fun! Fun! Fun! The Lifetime’s message board was very busy the last two days. These three young girls are childish, naive, rude, and crude. This is my Fall/Thanksgiving holiday vacation break. I will be enjoying my week off. I will be going out for Thansgiving dinner. It will be my father and I. My mother is decease.
Yeah, you go C”, I was over there last night and when I saw them say, “can we talk about something else besides Henry” I got very pissed and came back with, things like, AH” Henry , OOH” Henry that sweet, sexy, hot, stud muffin, that gets me wet and wild Ha! They didn’t say anymore about not talking about him. I had to make sure hank knew what I was doing though. I love making people who hate and talk about Blood Ties regret their actions!! We all have to stick together, I love you guys, and I will be looking forward to filling you in on my Turkey day, and hearing back about yours. My sisters are coming up from Missouri so this ought to be interesting. ha! hey Vandy, sorry to hear about your mom, I lost mine three years ago, and my youngest son who was 25 this year. I hope your day goes good, I will pray for all of you!!!
Personally I didn’t mind the comment about changing the topic off of Henry. It would be nice to be able to have someone to talk to about Vicki more often. But that’s me.
My mother passed away three years and four months ago. I had the reality checked after my mother was gone for a month. We are not going to celebrate any birthdays, holidays and special occasions with each other anymore. Well, I am a strong woman and i decided I was going to do things around the holidays like going to the music concerts, the ballet and the musicals. I just love my performing arts. All my family is all over the United States. So, I will be calling them on Thanksgiving eve and the holiday.
You will always miss that special person even more on holidays. I lost my dad 2 years ago. It was hard because he was sick with cancer and in California, while I was in SC. Because of my girls I couldn’t leave and be with him. It was so sad but it made me want to spend more time with the family I have left. You never know what could happen. So always tell the people you care about that you love them. You may not get another chance.
You are so right csd1 – tell family and friends you love them every chance you get. The dear Blood Ties friends I’ve met this last year have become very special to me and I want to wish each and every one of you and your families the very best Thanksgiving ever. I love you guys.

Hi everyone, yes I’m still alive – Life has gone into warp speed, hubby was in and out of hospital several more times – I think it’s all ok now. My oldest son has been struggling with school and we spend hours each night going over homework. So things have been crazy, but there isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think about you all.
So my thought are with you all – I’ll try to stop in more often but I wanted to say hi.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Sorry I haven’t been around much, between Bronchitis (mine) and trips to the ER (Dad) and hubby gone during the week my computer time has been short.
And I’m actually writing a book, vampire one of course. My goal is to have enough done by Christmas to be able to see about a publisher etc. It’s called Love Sucks and is a funny (I hope) take on vampire life. Want to have first few chapters printed up to give hubby for Christmas. Tomorrow is our 26th wedding aniversary, so of course I get to spend the day cooking……what’s wrong with this picture?
Am going to make hubby take me to dinner and movie (Twilight – He owes me movie pick) this weekend.
Still trying to sell the house and it’s like living in a furniture showroom, just want to leave books or plate out just to make the place look lived in sometimes.

Here’s a heads up everyone. Raven’s daughter Laura is in ICU, her blood sugar was down to 30… Keep her and Linda in your prayers, she’s been through so much this year, as we all know, don’t know how she’s keeping it together. I don’t know about anyone else but I will be glad to see this damn year end. Sorry about the profanity everyone, but it seems like it’s been a really lousy year for so many people. So glad everyone is here for each other.
Raven I have said a prayer for you and your daughter and I’ll keep saying one until we get some good news. I agree with BTF this has been a bad year in so many ways for so many of us. But we have been here for each other and will continue to be here.
Linda, remember we all love you! Let us know if there is anything we can do, even if it’s only a friend to listen.
Raven, you are in my thoughts and prayers right now. I agree with you Bludtizfan that this year has been horrible for everyone. My cousin had cancer treatment this Spring, April through June. His cancer is in remission. He has a check up every two months. The news from these check ups are very good. Laura has two guardian angels who are looking over her Bruce and Grammy(my grandmother). Grammy has been my guardian angel for 34 years now. I am 39 years old.
Hey Vandy. I have sent my angel, my dad, to Linda as well. We all have those people who have passed on who look after us. I may not go to church every Sunday but I do believe in a higher power. He will see us through anything that comes our way. I have many times thought my life was just to hard, raising three children who are disabled, but I keep going. I keep going with one thought. God made things the way they are for a reason, he brought people into my life for a reason. And God doesn’t make mistakes. Just think about that.
Linda’s daughter seems to be doing better, all those angels looking after her. The big concern was that they didn’t know how long her blood sugar had been that low. But the latest I hear was that she recognized everyone and things are looking better.
Her “friend” Marco has been by her side. He seems like a really great guy and he stayed with Laura for the first shift, so Linda could get some sleep. I’ll let you know if I hear more.
Hi guys long time no talk:) I wanted to shout out to Linda and let you know God is right there with you! It may seem like he has forsaken you but I promise he has not. He knows your needs. Trust in him. There is not a single thing or person on this earth who will never fail you. NOT ONE! But he will take care of your daughter and you. Close your eyes and find that very still and quiet place in your soul. Ask God for the peace which surpasses all human understanding. God will not fail you, When he gives that kind of peace it is better than any drug here on this earth!! Just know you and your daughter go in my thoughts and prayers. God be with you,

Her BS dropped to 21 again this afternoon, so some tests will be done tomorrow. Thank you all again. Your thoughtfulness warms my heart and has helped me through.. again.
I am so glad she is doing better. I had a scare with Quinton two nights ago, he was complaining a weird feeling in his lower abdomen and I was scared that his prostate was acting up agan, but thank god it was only an intestinal virus, the doctor said. I was so relieved. He and I send our love and prayers to you and Laura.

I am so happy to hear that Laura and Quinton are feeling better. My Thanksgiving was very good. Dad and I went to a French restaurant for our holiday dinner. The food was so delicious and it melted in your month.

Hi everyone, sorry I haven’t been on much lately. Dad isn’t doing well, can’t get him to eat anything much today. Some toast for breakfast and some spaghetti at lunch. Refused dinner and even a vanilla milkshake couldn’t temp him. Then he went to bed at 5:30, no goodnight just got up and said going to bed. Have a feeling I won’t sleep much tonight. I’ll be checking on Dad every couple of hours I’m sure. Glad hubby gets home tomorrow.
Did manage to get Katie MacAlisters new Vamp book today. Looks good and hope to read it this weekend. I’ll be sticking close to Dad so won’t be on computer much, different floors of house. But I should be able to get some writing and reading done. Want to try to finish the Hunt before Xmas for you Pokey.
So sorry to hear that your dad’s not doing well! I can see how distressing that can be.I will pray for both of you, and hopefully things will get better. yes, I was wondering if you were gonna finish it, but I understand how life takes precedence over anything else as well. take your time. I will be looking forward to the rest of the story with lots of enthusiasm.
Hubby is home for the weekend, so he’ll help keep on eye on Dad. Will give me some time to get on the computer and write.
Thinking of you and praying for you. Know the holidays will be tough, but remember we are all here and love you. And Bruce is looking out for you. He may not be there physically but he is always with you. love to you and hugs.

web site. It came up as a goDaddy *parking* site with a bunch of searches and ads. Most of our links to everywhere else have been sitting in the postings for months and months, and now it looks like they are simply no longer accessible.
Does anyone know what’s going on over there?
I heard a rumor that the Region 1 DVD’s are going to be available soon, but I’ve heard that many, many moons (ages) ago, as well.

Hey everyone. Guy I made a poat at the LT. Almost 2 years after this show first aired and people are still fighting.
Bloodlines was a fan based site. I don’t know who ran it but if anyone does maybe they can email them and ask what happened. I thought that one would stay up because it was so busy there. If anyone hears anything let us know.
I’m going to shop this afternoon and then try to work on Trials. Jordan is giving me a fit. What’s a girl to do with werewolfs?

According to an email I received from Peter Mohan, the dvd’s should be out very soon. He doesn’t know what’s on them, as he wasn’t consulted about the content. Hopefully, we’ll get the stuff we want nd won’t be screwed again, but i’m not counting on it.

Hope everyone’s having a good Sunday. Glad to hear that progress continues on the DVD – I’ve been telling myself that patience is a virtue, but it’s been a bit of a job convincing myself sometimes.
Saw an interesting artice on the Variety site – looks like negotiations between the studios and the actors guild have gone in the tank and the guild has announced they’re going to seek strike authorization from their members. No word when the vote will be, but they need 75% approval before they strike, so who knows what’s gonna happen (particularly with the economy the way it is).

I’m starting to think there’s a conspiracy against Blood Ties out there
Can’t believe those bozos at Yahoo left Henry off their list – although from a quick gander at the comments, it looks like they left a whack of classics off the list.
I’m interested to find out how the ‘average joe’ in the actors guild will vote when the strike authorization goes out. From what I’ve been reading since the summer, it might be smarter to take what they can get (assuming the studios haven’t taken anything from their final offer off the table), ride out the economic storm and get tough in the next contract. If they do go on strike, though, at least all of the Blood Ties cast has the option of coming back home to work and ride out the strike, particularly if it drags on for a while.

I know nothing of the Twilight series. I’ve seen the ads, I’m not sure I like vamps who walk in the day, but I really don’t know anything about it. So what’s with the no fangs thing? How can you be a vampire and walk in sunlight and have no fangs? WTF?

I would love to do the Henry assignment, if someone would take my business plan assignment. I have to work on a fake business plan and need some help in finding competitive ways to lure customers male and female from stores like Lane Bryant, Catherines, Plus Sizes, and Casual male. I’m thinking about what you said in your last post. My girls are both what you would say is overweight. Being disabled makes getting dressed a challange. Maybe you should look at that. More eleastic or something to help people dress themselfs. Just a thought. Or maybe it was the skinny people you needed to look at. Hell don’t they have enough?

The Lifetime’s message board was very busy the last two days. These three young girls are childish, naive, rude, and crude. This is my Fall/Thanksgiving holiday vacation break. I will be enjoying my week off. I will be going out for Thansgiving dinner. It will be my father and I. My mother is decease.

Yeah, you go C”, I was over there last night and when I saw them say, “can we talk about something else besides Henry” I got very pissed and came back with, things like, AH” Henry , OOH” Henry that sweet, sexy, hot, stud muffin, that gets me wet and wild Ha! They didn’t say anymore about not talking about him. I had to make sure hank knew what I was doing though. I love making people who hate and talk about Blood Ties regret their actions!! My mother passed away three years and four months ago. I had the reality checked after my mother was gone for a month. We are not going to celebrate any birthdays, holidays and special occasions with each other anymore. Well, I am a strong woman and i decided I was going to do things around the holidays like going to the music concerts, the ballet and the musicals. I just love my performing arts. All my family is all over the United States. So, I will be calling them on Thanksgiving eve and the holiday.

You will always miss that special person even more on holidays. I lost my dad 2 years ago. It was hard because he was sick with cancer and in California, while I was in SC. Because of my girls I couldn’t leave and be with him. It was so sad but it made me want to spend more time with the family I have left. You never know what could happen. So always tell the people you care about that you love them. You may not get another chance.

Hi everyone, yes I’m still alive – Life has gone into warp speed, hubby was in and out of hospital several more times – I think it’s all ok now. My oldest son has been struggling with school and we spend hours each night going over homework. So things have been crazy, but there isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think about you all.
So my thought are with you all – I’ll try to stop in more often but I wanted to say hi.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Sorry I haven’t been around much, between Bronchitis (mine) and trips to the ER (Dad) and hubby gone during the week my computer time has been short.
And I’m actually writing a book, vampire one of course. My goal is to have enough done by Christmas to be able to see about a publisher etc. It’s called Love Sucks and is a funny (I hope) take on vampire life. Want to have first few chapters printed up to give hubby for Christmas. Tomorrow is our 26th wedding aniversary, so of course I get to spend the day cooking……what’s wrong with this picture?
Am going to make hubby take me to dinner and movie (Twilight – He owes me movie pick) this weekend.
Still trying to sell the house and it’s like living in a furniture showroom, just want to leave books or plate out just to make the place look lived in sometimes.
This past year has been both good and bad, for all of us, but I’m truly grateful for all the wonderful people Blood Ties has giving to me. Please all have a safe and wonderful day. You will all be in my Thanksgiving Blessings tomorrow and everyday.

bludtizfan, now that’s the way to do dinner– you cook it, and let someone else clean up the mess =) ..of course, idealistically– someone else to cook, set the table, etc., and clean up would be even better. (dishwasher in my house is me!)

I haven’t heard from dreamvision yet, and not sure if I will at this point. Then she gets all stressed out because her homework isn’t finished on time…anyway, anytime you want to vent, feel free, cuz like I said, I can totally relate!

Here’s the outline. Lady vamp teamed up with human ex-FBI who happens to be a georgous guy. Also have transvestite vamp for comic side. And a black hunky cop who is a newbie vamp.

Happy day after Thanksgiving, I missed you all yesterday,But I did get the majority of my homework done. My sisters are still here, they leave today for home. I had a nice holiday considering it being the first without Bruce. I miss him so much!! we went out to his grave and stayed for about an hour. I will be back later today love you all!!

Morning all. I hope everyone had a wonderful day yesterday. We had a small group here. I love them all but after a few hours I’m always ready for them to go home! LOL. Today I get to try and catch up on the laundry that was put on hold while I cooked. Brian is home until Monday so I don’t know how often I’ll be able to pop on. He wants to spend time with me, how weird is that? After 17 years you’d think he would be tired of me. Oh well. I’ll peek in when I can. Love you all.

Here’s a heads up everyone. Raven’s daughter Laura is in ICU, her blood sugar was down to 30… Keep her and Linda in your prayers, she’s been through so much this year, as we all know, don’t know how she’s keeping it together. I don’t know about anyone else but I will be glad to see this damn year end. Sorry about the profanity everyone, but it seems like it’s been a really lousy year for so many people. So glad everyone is here for each other.

Raven I have said a prayer for you and your daughter and I’ll keep saying one until we get some good news. I agree with BTF this has been a bad year in so many ways for so many of us. But we have been here for each other and will continue to be here.

Raven, you are in my thoughts and prayers right now. I agree with you Bludtizfan that this year has been horrible for everyone. My cousin had cancer treatment this Spring, April through June. His cancer is in remission. He has a check up every two months. The news from these check ups are very good. Laura has two guardian angels who are looking over her Bruce and Grammy(my grandmother). Grammy has been my guardian angel for 34 years now. I am 39 years old.

Hey Vandy. I have sent my angel, my dad, to Linda as well. We all have those people who have passed on who look after us. I may not go to church every Sunday but I do believe in a higher power. He will see us through anything that comes our way. I have many times thought my life was just to hard, raising three children who are disabled, but I keep going. I keep going with one thought. God made things the way they are for a reason, he brought people into my life for a reason. And God doesn’t make mistakes. Just think about that.

Linda’s daughter seems to be doing better, all those angels looking after her. The big concern was that they didn’t know how long her blood sugar had been that low. But the latest I hear was that she recognized everyone and things are looking better.
Her “friend” Marco has been by her side. He seems like a really great guy and he stayed with Laura for the first shift, so Linda could get some sleep. I’ll let you know if I hear more.

Trust in him. There is not a single thing or person on this earth who will never fail you. NOT ONE! But he will take care of your daughter and you. Close your eyes and find that very still and quiet place in your soul. Ask God for the peace which surpasses all human understanding. Thank you.. so much for the prayers and well wishes. Laura is doing better, more coherent (sp) and THANK GOD recognizes all of us now. She is still having some memory issues we are hoping will pass. Her BS dropped to 21 again this afternoon, so some tests will be done tomorrow. Thank you all again. Your thoughtfulness warms my heart and has helped me through.. again.

I had a scare with Quinton two nights ago, he was complaining a weird feeling in his lower abdomen and I was scared that his prostate was acting up agan, but thank god it was only an intestinal virus, the doctor said. I was so relieved. He and I send our love and prayers to you and Laura.

. How’s school going – yesterday was a two-class day, wasn’t it? I’m down to my last two classes in this course and am starting to panic a bit. Gonna have to spend the next couple weeks seriously cramming for my final.

Hi everyone, sorry I haven’t been on much lately. Dad isn’t doing well, can’t get him to eat anything much today. Some toast for breakfast and some spaghetti at lunch. Refused dinner and even a vanilla milkshake couldn’t temp him. Then he went to bed at 5:30, no goodnight just got up and said going to bed. Have a feeling I won’t sleep much tonight. I’ll be checking on Dad every couple of hours I’m sure. Glad hubby gets home tomorrow.
Did manage to get Katie MacAlisters new Vamp book today. Looks good and hope to read it this weekend. I’ll be sticking close to Dad so won’t be on computer much, different floors of house. But I should be able to get some writing and reading done. Want to try to finish the Hunt before Xmas for you Pokey.
